Adrian Frank Chisholm, known as A+DJTITAN was born at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto on August 15th, 1988. At the early age of four his mother introduced him to Piano lessons at the New Conservatory of Music where he studied classical, jazz, music theory and ear training for nine years. He won several accolades such as scholarships and first place festival trophies as a young prodigy.
At the age of ten, he went on a family vacation to Brooklyn, NY where he received his first taste of hip-hop – ironically the same place where hip-hop was berthed (NY). He received a hip-hop cassette tape from his aunt Violet (who he named his daughter after).
“Its Dark, and Hell is Hot”, was an album released by New York rapper DMX, and was also the inspiration to his rap career dreams. The catalyst was the beats, the bells and whistles from the very intro, which led to an undying curiosity for hip-hop. The emergence of Eminem, Nas, Diplomats (JR Writer in particular), helped motivate his lyrical creativity and wittiness. He became a great young lyricist by listening to great rappers.
Producing started in high school when released his first indie mixtape “Street Symphonies”, while signing with super producer Cooley C (Rest in Peace), who was producing for Pretty Ricky, Lil Wayne, Young Joc and countless others at the time. Cooley and his staff had high faith in the young Titan as an artist, and this resonated into the producer DJ we now recognized as A+DJTITAN.
